End-of-Summer Party Snacks

Labor Day may be behind us, but summer doesn’t officially end until the last backyard bash. Whether it’s a casual block party, a family cookout, or an impromptu hangout with neighbors, the heart of every great gathering is a snack table that’s fun, flavorful, and easy to put together.

Here’s how to set up a spread that feels festive without the fuss, starting with our Super Butter Party Mix, the snack table MVP.

1. Super Butter Party Mix (the centerpiece)

The star of the table. Buttery, crunchy, and loaded with mix-ins, it’s the perfect communal snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Big Bag of Opopop Super Butter, popped

  • 2 cups mini pretzels

  • 1 cup roasted peanuts

  • 1 cup cheese crackers

  • ½ cup M&M’s (or your fave candy-coated chocolate)

Instructions:

  1. Pop your Super Butter.

  2. Toss everything together in a big bowl.

  3. Serve with cups or scoops so guests can grab their share.

Party Tip: Make a double batch. This bowl will disappear fast.

2. Caprese Skewers

A fresh, no-cook classic.
Thread cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil on toothpicks. Drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving.

3. Watermelon Wedges with Lime & Salt

Juicy, refreshing, and almost zero prep.
Slice watermelon into triangles, sprinkle with a pinch of salt, and squeeze fresh lime over the top. Tajin adds a nice zing

4. Guacamole & Chips

The dip that everyone loves.
Mash ripe avocados with lime juice, cilantro, and a pinch of salt. Add tortilla chips in a big bowl, and you’re done.

5. S’mores Dip

Because every party needs something sweet.
Melt chocolate chips in a baking dish, top with marshmallows, and broil until golden. Serve warm with graham crackers for dipping

Party Vibes, Simplified

  • Keep it casual: Paper plates, big bowls, and finger foods = easy cleanup.

  • Set the mood: String lights, summer playlists, and maybe a backyard game or two.

  • Balance your table: A mix of savory (Super Butter Mix, guac), fresh (watermelon, caprese), and sweet (s’mores dip) keeps everyone happy.
Throwing a no-fuss end-of-summer party doesn’t require hours in the kitchen. With Super Butter Party Mix at the center and a few easy add-ons, you’ve got everything you need to keep the party going, one handful at a time.
