Can I pop Flavor Wrapped Kernels without the Opopop popper?
Our Flavor Wrapped Kernels are specially formulated for the microwave, from the raw kernel, to the oil, to the spices used for flavor.
You may burn the spices and other ingredients if you cook Opopop Flavor Wrapped Kernels on the stovetop.
Also it is not recommended to cook Opopop Flavor Wrapped Kernels in an air popper, because air poppers aren’t made to have oil in them.
You can use other microwave popcorn poppers to cook Flavor Wrapped Kernels, but we believe we have the highest quality one on the market designed to give you the ultimate pop :)
How do I pop Flavor Wrapped Popcorn Kernels?
Fully expand the Opopop popper and pour your Flavor Wrapped Kernel sachet in.
Microwave for 2-4 minutes.
Stop when pops are a couple seconds apart.
Remove the Opopop popper from the microwave using the cool-touch handling rings.
Firmly hold the Opopop popper lid and shake to distribute all of the flavor.
Enjoy.
* Note: Microwaves are tricky, that's why we provide the Test Launch sachet with each Discovery Kit, so you can optimize your microwaves cook time for perfect popcorn.
Is Opopop allergen friendly?
All of our Flavor Wrapped Kernels are gluten free, nut-free and Non-GMO.
Fancy Butter, Chedapeno, and Like Buddahh are the only flavors that contain MILK. However, all our flavors are produced and packaged in the same facility and we cross-label all of our products for that allergy.
So out of an abundance of caution, anyone with a milk allergy should avoid our products at this time.
What’s the shelf life?
Opopop Flavor Wrapped Kernels stay fresh for 12 months after being manufactured. Please follow the best-by date that is printed at the bottom of each Flavor Wrapped Kernel Sachet.
The best-buy date is printed on our products to ensure you are getting the most delicious flavor. Our Flavor Wrapped Kernels are still safe to eat after the best-buy date but the flavor can become less impactful.
Where do Opopop kernels come from?
We grow our own unique kernels on a family farm in Western Nebraska! We constantly test new kernel varieties to give you the best pop, texture, and taste.
How do I reorder my favorite flavors?
Once you find your favorite flavors in a Discovery Kit you can reorder “Big Bags” of Flavor Wrapped Kernels and pour them into the Opopop popper that comes with each Discovery Kit.
