How do I pop Flavor Wrapped Popcorn Kernels?
It's seriously easy. Fully expand the Opopop popper and pour your Flavor Wrapped Kernel sachet in. Microwave for 2-4 minutes, stopping when pops are a couple seconds apart. Remove the popper using the cool-touch handling rings, firmly hold the lid and shake to distribute all of the flavor. Then enjoy!
Note: Microwaves are tricky, that's why we include the Test Launch sachet with each Discovery Kit, so you can dial in your microwave's perfect cook time.
What makes Opopop different from regular microwave popcorn?
Our Flavor Wrapped Kernels are the first innovation in popcorn since the 1970s. Every single kernel is wrapped in a rich blanket of delicious flavor that transfers onto the kernel as it pops. Unlike traditional popcorn where you shake flavor on afterwards, ours is infused from the start—which means insanely good flavor in every single bite, not just at the bottom of the bowl. Plus, we grow our own kernels on our family farm in Western Nebraska and engineer everything ourselves. We're basically popcorn scientists (and yeah, we take it that seriously).
Is Opopop allergen friendly?
All of our Flavor Wrapped Kernels are gluten-free, nut-free, and Non-GMO. Fancy Butter and Super Butter are the only flavors in the Ultimate Collection that contain milk. However, all our flavors are produced and packaged in the same facility, so we cross-label all products for that allergy. Out of an abundance of caution, anyone with a milk allergy should avoid our products at this time.
What’s the shelf life?
Opopop Flavor Wrapped Kernels stay fresh for 12 months after being manufactured. Follow the best-by date printed at the bottom of each sachet. They're still safe to eat after the best-by date, but the flavor can become less impactful (and trust us, you want maximum flavor impact).
Can I reorder individual flavors after trying the Discovery Kit?
Absolutely! Once you discover your favorites (and you will), just head to the Refill Station on our website and order "Big Bags" of your go-to flavors. Pour them into the Opopop popper that comes with your Discovery Kit. We make it easy to feed your new popcorn addiction—and we're always launching new flavors for you to try.
